Parish Announcements
Pentecost Sunday | June 8

As the name suggests, Pentecost takes place 50 days following Jesus’ resurrection from the dead and celebrates the gift of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. Here is how we will celebrate the festival day:
- The congregation is asked to wear red to symbolize the power of the Holy Spirit.
- Following the service we will take our annual parish photo.
- We are also looking for a few who are willing to read a portion of the lesson from Acts in a foreign language. You will read said portion from your pew with other foreign language speakers while the lector reads the language in English. That said, you don’t need to be a fluent speaker - just competent enough to read it aloud. Contact Brian Denton (briandenton@me.com).
Join us after worship and celebrate the birthday of the Church with cake!
